The Magic Room has announced details of the fourth edition of its St Brigid’s weekend music series, taking place at Johnny Walsh’s in Gort, County Galway, on Saturday 31 January.
Since its launch, The Magic Room has developed a following by placing community, intention and high-quality sound at the heart of its dancefloor, and its forthcoming event will be no different, featuring an all-female DJ lineup, including FrontLeft, DeadRight, and January Winters.
Gort has become a spiritual home for the series, which draws inspiration from St Brigid and themes associated with creativity, renewal, and healing.
The evening begins with the departure of the Magic Bus from Galway at 7pm. The bus arrives in Gort as the music begins at 8pm, with a no-phones policy in place throughout the event.
For select attendees, the event will extend beyond the main dancefloor in Gort – as weekend ticket holders are transported later in the night by the Magic Bus to a separate, undisclosed location.
Two ticket types are available: tickets for the main event only, and a restricted number of full weekend tickets offering access to the extended programme. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.
