Mijk van Dijk has announced the forthcoming re-release of the Micheline Tracks EP, recorded under his Toneking alias, on Superstition later this month.

The EP, which was initially released on the Cyberfugu label in 1996, features four tracks, Pneu, Trucks & Girls, Aquaplan, and Tyred, which earned acclaim on their release for their rhythmic, repetitive structures.

The opening track, Pneu, was arguably the most widely circulated track from the release, going on to appear on various compilations, as well as being remixed by Insider, Marco Bailey vs Redhead, and Zzino vs Accelerator on a remix EP released in 2000.

Mijk van Dijk has been active in the electronic music scene since its formative years – as a press release put it, the release ‘keeps the original pressure while making these sought‑after tracks readily available again, with fresh remasters’.

Mijk van Dijk presents Toneking – Micheline Tracks EP is released on Superstition on 30 January.

01 – Pneu
02 – Trucks & Girls
03 – Aquaplan
04 – Tyred
