Artists including Ida Engberg, Kenny Dope, Nick Warren and Captain Hook have been added to the lineup for Iceland Eclipse Festival, taking place from 12 to 15 August at Snæfellsnes Peninsula, Iceland.

A four-day immersive festival combining music, art, science, space, and wellness, other new artists added to the lineup include Android Jones, Ayla Schafer, Chris Dyer, CloZee, Playing For Change, and Icelandic artists including Agzilla, Bensol, Carla Rose, Cell7, Gunnar Ólafsson, Orang Volante and Samwise.

The festival capacity is capped at 3,333 guests, with the festival organisers confident of creating an ‘immersive, close-knit setting’ for the festival’s highlight – the last total eclipse to be seen in Iceland until the year 2196.

Artists already announced for the festival include Dave Clarke, Imogen Heap, Reggie Watts, Booka Shade (Live), Arc De Soleil, Ash Lauryn, Ryan Crosson, Daði Freyr, Emiliana Torrini, MEDUZA³, Nightmares on Wax, and more.

The festival is built around four pillars, Dance, Learn, Connect and Explore, with the Learn pillar featuring thought leaders and innovators such as Ben Nowack and Emily Bilbao of Reflect Orbital, Mars microphone engineer Jason Achilles Mezilis, regenerative living advocate Mörður ‘Moli’ Gunnarsson Ottesen, Burning Man CTO Steven Blumenfeld, and Tony Cho, a regenerative city builder.

Elsewhere, the Connect pillar, developed in partnership with Cosmic Pineapple, will focus on wellness, movement, and consciousness.
