Canadian DJ and producer Tiga has announced details of his first album in ten years, Hotlife, which will be released on Turbo Recordings x Secret City Records in April of next year.
The album has been preceded by the release of a new single this Friday, Ecstasy Surrounds Me, which marks Tiga’s return to solo recording after several years working on collaborations and label projects.
The track, which was co-written by Matthew Dear, known for his work as Audion, was produced alongside Jump Source, the Montreal-based duo of Priori and Patrick Holland.
Tiga first previewed the track on social media back in 2023, which prompted calls from fans to release the track.
“You have to live with every track you make,” Tiga says of Ecstasy Surrounds Me. “But you don’t love all your tracks the same. I love this track with all my heart because it makes me feel like the artist I want to be. It’s forced me to become a better man, a better father, and a pillar of my community.
“I will never be able to fully repay this song all I owe, but I can make it the closing tune of the best album I have ever made. That will have to be enough.”
Hotlife will include twelve tracks and collaborations with the likes of Boys Noize, MRD, Maara, and Fcukers. It will be the Sunglasses at Night co-producer’’s first long player since No Fantasy Required in 2016 and will continue his long association with Turbo Recordings, which he founded in Montreal in the late 1990s.
To support the release of the new single, Tiga will perform a series of shows in Europe and North America towards the end of 2025 – upcoming dates include Istanbul on 24 October 2025, London on 25 October and 7 November, Offenbach on 31 October, Barcelona on 1 November, Pamplona on 8 November, Brussels on 14 November, and Miami on 5 December. This will be followed by a tour to accompany the album next year.
