The Haçienda releases 51 DJ mixes from its archive on Apple Music

Manchester’s legendary The Haçienda has released 51 DJ mixes from its historic archive on Apple Music, including performances from both the original nightclub and more recent events.

The catalogue features mixes from Frankie Knuckles, Armand Van Helden, Mike Pickering, David Morales, Graeme Park and others from the club itself, dating back to 1987.

These are joined by various mixes from events such as The Haçienda Albert Hall in 2013, The Haçienda Classic in 2014, The Haçienda 40 in 2022, The Haçienda Open Air in Leeds in 2024, and various sets from The Haçienda at the Warehouse Project, from December last year.

“The Haçienda is as iconic as they come,” commented Stephen Campbell, global head of dance, electronic and DJ mixes at Apple Music, “[with a] true global influence that seems to transcend generations. I couldn’t be more excited to be able to bring archive mixes from the club itself, as well as new mixes, progressing and preserving the legacy.”

Mixes are now available via Apple Club Radio Live and can be found here. Main photo by Peter J Walsh.
