Ben Böhmer has announced the launch of Begin Again (Remixed), a collection of reworkings of tracks from Böhmer’s recent Begin Again long player.
Artists including The Blaze, HAAi, Matador, niina, Rezident, Barry Can’t Swim and even self-styled ‘techno marching band’ Meute are on hand to lend their remix talents on the new EP, which has just been released on Anjunadeep.
Ben Böhmer’s Begin Again has already clocked up more than 50 million streams and led to a sold-out tour that visited 30 cities, as well as earning support from the likes of Danny Howard, Pete Tong, Clara Amfo, Sara Story and Sian Eleri. This summer alone, Böhmer will be appearing on 21 different festival lineups.
On ‘Begin Again’ (Remixed), HAAi, delivers a techno-infused rework of ‘Escalate’; Ireland’s Matador takes ‘Fade To Blue’ into dance-floor territory; up-and-coming London-based act niina, crafts an energetic remix of ‘Once’; The Blaze showcases their emotional and captivating sound on their rework of ‘Slow Wave’; Barry Can’t Swim reshapes PBSR’s vocals on ‘Revelation’; and Meute close off the project with their soft, quasi-orchestral rework of the album’s title track, ‘Begin Again’.
