Slam complete ‘Louder Than Chaos’ series with AnD collaboration

Techno legends Slam have released the final part of their Louder Than Chaos series of collaboration EPs, with Volume 5 seeing the lads team up with AnD on a double A-side.

The series previously saw Slam team up with artists including Hector Oaks, 999999999, Optic Nerve, Perc, Rebekah and Amelie Lens.

Louder Than Chaos Volume 5 features two tracks, Circumvolve and Trident, both of which are representative of the peak-time techno Slam are notorious for. You can download/stream it here.

The Louder Than Chaos series was borne out of lockdown, as Slam developed the collaborative project with friends, colleagues and contemporaries at a time when the clubs were closed.

“With the pandemic, we were thrown into a situation where we weren’t connecting with anybody,” Slam’s Stuart McMillan told 909originals late last year (read the full interview here). “When those connections were lost, we were like ‘ok, we need to find a way to connect and make good music’. You know, to use the time in a positive way, with people that we wanted to make music with.”

Slam & AnD – Louder Than Chaos Volume 5 is released on 11 February exclusive to Soma Shop/Beatport/Streaming, and 25 February via Bandcamp and all other platforms.
