London-based producer DJ GTi has announced details of his debut EP, enhanced_performance, which is set to land on 12 June via Select Discs.
The release is the producer’s first project since the track Santa Teresa, which appeared on Sofia Kourtesis’s contribution to the DJ-Kicks series.
The EP opens with turbo_viento, built around techno rhythms and Latin influences, as well as featuring the tracks chroma_forest and sierra_loop, which incorporate field recordings blended with electronic beats.
The EP itself was inspired by the atmosphere surrounding JDM car communities, late-night street racing culture and underground car meets – channelling the ‘atmosphere of a hidden world’, as the release puts it.
Alongside the EP release, DJ GTi also recently appeared at a Select Discs event during The Great Escape 2026 in Brighton, which took place on 14 May and also featured performances from Mori111111, Dj Streaks and ⌭ IceMorph ⌬.
