Chicago-based house group Ten City have announced details of a new album, The Next Generation, which sees vocalist Byron Stingily team up with house producer Emmaculate and a selection of vocalists.

The 13-track album, set to be released on 5 September on Nervous Records, features vocal contributions from Mon’Aerie, El Boogie, Ric Wilson, DRAMA, D. Lylez, OVEOUS, and Uneq’ka, as well as co-production from Shebazz Curtis, DJ Flipside, Na’el Shehade, Gershon Jackson, and Paris Cesvette.

It’s the first long player since Ten City‘s 2021 release Judgement, which was Grammy-nominated and included the single Be Free.

According to a press release, The Next Generation ‘comes loaded with a variety of pure soulful house vibes, where evocative vocal performances and meaningful lyrics come wrapped in lavish production and classy instrumentation’.

Or, as Stingily himself puts it, “Staying TRUE while incorporating the NEW…!” 🙂
