Fleur Shore has announced the release of her sophomore single, Bless The House, featuring Émilie Rachel, which lands on 16 May via her newly launched label, UNDERGROWTH.
The single follows on from the momentum of her debut track, Higher, and leans into stripped-back, classic four-four rhythms, elevated by the hypnotic and tripped-out vocals of Émilie Rachel.
‘It’s understated house music at its finest—the kind of track diverse enough for sweaty intimate club nights, to pulsing through packed dancefloors, and soundtracking sunrise afterparties,’ as a release put it.
UNDERGROWTH encompasses a record label, a party series, and a community of art lovers who want to break free from mundanity and embrace the unknown. In other words, no rules, no expectations, and no concessions to the market.
Released in April, Higher picked up strong support from BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard, Sarah Story, and Arielle Free, and was also spotlighted as a Beatport Hype pick of the month.
As the artist herself puts it, “The mantra is simple: we are connected, we are one, we are undergrowth. UNDERGROWTH is a safe space where artists – new, legendary, forgotten or under the radar – can express themselves however they want.”
Fleur Shore feat. Émilie Rachel – Bless This House is out now on UNDERGROWTH and can be purchased/streamed here.
