Laurent Garnier’s COD3 QR label has announced details of its first vinyl-only release of 2025, the [QR]V.052.GMF.25 EP, which is set to come out later this month.
The EP opens with one of Garnier’s own tracks, Back Where I Belong (Solaris Mix), which is described as a ‘monumental builder’ that showcases the Frenchman’s musical storytelling ability.
Elsewhere, Berlin resident and Survival Tactics label head, Tal Fussman, contributes the track Waiting; French producer Loloman’s The Wall, previously released in November, returns with a Laurent Garnier remix; and Benny Rodrigues a.k.a. ROD unveils his new moniker, The Lost Souldancer, with the track No More Voices.
Commenting on his new identity, Rodrigues noted, “The Lost Souldancer is about coping with the loss of what once was. Finding comfort in the invisible rather than what can be seen. Disconnect to connect in order to be loved rather than liked.”
