Deep Dish serve up new remix of 2005’s ‘Say Hello’

Deep Dish have delved into their back catalogue to serve up a new, re-imagined version of their 2005 track, Say Hello.

The revitalised track – Say Hello (Deep Dish Goes Peak Remix) – is one of a series of releases to mark the progressive house maestros’ return to music after a decade away.

According to a press release to accompany the release, the Goes Peak mix ‘transforms the track into a chugging techno version built for peak-time at the rave. The emotive melancholy of the original remains, altogether in a futuristic realm surrounded by sharp drums and velvety rich, contemporary synths’.

It follows on from a softer, afrotech-leaning Goes Deep remix of the same track, which was released in November, as well as two updated remixes of their well-known track Flashdance, which came out in October.

Earlier this month, Deep Dish – aka producers Dubfire and Sharam – made their first UK performance in a decade, taking over London’s The Cause with an all-night-long extended DJ set, which followed on from a similar all-nighter at New York’s Somewhere Nowhere. They’re set to return to both venues between now and Christmas, with a London show set for 20 December, and the New York show taking place on 21 December. Tickets can be found here and here.

Deep Dish – Say Hello (Deep Dish Goes Peak Remix is out now on Armada Music.
