This weekend, tens of thousands of revellers and free spirits will pitch up in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada for the 2024 edition of Burning Man, the annual crucible of creativity, music and art.
DJ, violinist and producer Seth Schwarz and his partner Lydgen (also a violinist, as well as a vocalist), have come together ahead of this year’s Burning Man to formally release the track Matter of Time (Stars Align) under their ARTEMIDES moniker.
“This track resembles one of the great wisdoms we were able to tap into while considering our long term relationship as soul mates,” the duo put it. “Some of the biggest manifestations are a matter of time – and now we see the stars align.”
The track was one of the most-played of last year’s event, and can be downloaded/streamed here. Both have multiple appearances lined up at Burning Man 2024, which runs from 25 August to 2 September.
With that in mind, the pair, renowned for their fusion of electronic and classical music, are bringing you this week’s #MyRecordBag feature, which features some of their favourite Burning Man classics from over the years.
