It’s that time of year again. Cocoon Recordings has announced the forthcoming release of the latest in its series of compilations, Cocoon Compilation T, which features artists such as Claude VonStroke, Daniel Avery, Carl Finlow and The Emperor Machine.
Hot on the heels of label head Sven Väth serving up his first solo album in 20 years back in February, Cocoon Compilation T once again represents the current state of techno, with both established and up and coming artists appearing.

The compilation will be released digitally, as well as via a limited edition vinyl boxset across six sides of blue wax with a download code.
Also appearing on the 12-track compilation are Denis Horvat, Stephen Brown, Jeroen Search, Marco Bailey, Damiano Von Erckert, YOKTO, Jonathan Kaspar and DeFeKT.
‘Somehow, the world keeps turning and with it the Cocoon universe keeps expanding, causing subtle yet persuasive shifts in the sonic soundscape that continue to capture and captivate the imagination,’ as the official blurb puts it. ‘In time-honoured tradition, the old guard and the new combine with devastating effect.’
Cocoon Compilation T is set to be released on 5 August. You can pre-order it here.
