Two years in the making… The Warehouse Project announces first events of 2021 season

Amidst positive signs that we will soon be able to meet again on the dancefloor, The Warehouse Project has announced the first events of its 2021 season, taking place at Depot Mayfield in Manchester.

The season kicks off on Friday 17 September and runs until New Years Day, with details of the first six shows having just been revealed.

Tickets for each event will go on sale at 10am this Thursday (27 May) at www.thewarehouseproject.com, while the full WHP21 Season will be announced over the coming weeks.

Friday 17 September will see Nile Rodgers & Chic headline the Depot arena, alongside Horse Meat Disco, House Gospel Choir, Craig Charles and others, while in the Concourse, La Discothèque presents Norman Jay MBE, DJ Paulette, Veba and Joe Motion.

The following night (Saturday 18 September) will play host to the Repercussion festival, which features a host of names: DJ Shadow, Floating Points, Soul Il Soul, Laurent Garnier, DJ Koze, George Fitzgerald Live, Mr Scruff, LTJ Bukem, Greg Wilson and others.

Friday 24 September plays host to Metropolis, featuring Andy C, High Contrast, Hype back to back with Randall, DJ Marky and more, while Saturday 25th’s ‘Welcome To The Warehouse’ party will feature Carl Cox, Modeselektor, Peggy Gou, The Blessed Madonna, Skream, Honey Dijon and more.

On Friday 1 October, it’s the turn of Eric Prydz presents, with Prydz joining Artbat, Cristoph, Franky Wah and Ammara in the Depot, while Reinier Zonneveld and Anfisa Letyago rock the Concourse.

Saturday 2 October, meanwhile, is ‘Welcome To The Warehouse Part 2’, which will feature Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, The Martinez Brothers, Seth Troxler, Kerri Chandler and Archie Hamilton, among others.

As the organisers put it, ‘The Warehouse Project 2021 season marks the long awaited return to the dancefloor that everyone has been waiting for. A return to music, to dancing and to weekends. Defining moments and shared experiences with everyone under one roof again for a full-spectrum of music and cultural immersion.’
