Last December, Posthuman’s I Love Acid was the deserved winner of the Best Club Event at the DJ Mag Best of British Awards, and the TB303-tinged clubnight has powered into 2020 with memorable events in London and Liverpool already under its belt, and Manchester, Plymouth and Glasgow to come in the following weeks.
And having been in attendance at the recent Liverpool leg, at 24 Kitchen Street, 909originals can’t WAIT to sample it all over again. Uncompromising squelchy brilliance.
Now, Posthuman’s Josh Doherty has only gone and spoiled us with a Spotify playlist of some of the filthiest acid cuts produced in the past two decades – just the tonic for these cold winter evenings.
The Modern Acid playlist includes around 300 tracks, weighing in at more than 31 hours – expect to hear essential tunes from Steve Bug, Tyree Cooper, DJ Pierre, Thomas P. Heckmann, Luke Vibert, Jerome Hill, Squarepusher, Josh Wink, Ceephax Acid Crew… you get the idea.
Set that soundystem to ‘shuffle’ and turn it up… LOUD! 🙂
