DJ Tennis to helm next ‘fabric presents’ mix

fabric Records has announced that DJ Tennis will take the helm for its next fabric presents mix, set to land on 13 February.

The 19-track mix features two original compositions, one of which has just been released as a single –  I Wanna Know, a collaboration with London-based producer Ashee – check it out here. A second single, Hello Hello, will be released on the same day as the compilation.

“fabric has always been a place where I shaped my taste – getting lost in the middle of the dancefloor, learning to really listen,” DJ Tennis commented.

“This mix reflects how I approach music today: psychedelia, sound design, and groove shaped by early rave culture and an experimental, DIY background, beyond genres or formulas. Every track is something I would genuinely play in Room 1, and the cover of the mix says the same thing: a brain on a plate, memory, influence, and process, exposed.”

The fabric presents series has been running for more than 25 years and has featured curated mixes from the likes of The Martinez Brothers, Andrew Weatherall, Surgeon, The Streets, Confidence Man and more.

DJ Tennis is currently on tour, with upcoming dates in Thailand, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Cyprus, Italy, and France scheduled, as well as a return to fabric in London planned for 21 March.

fabric presents DJ Tennis will be released on 13 February on fabric Records.
