Dublin clubs to open their doors for Culture Night Late Night Venue Trail

Ray O’Donoghue, Dublin City’s Night-Time Economy Advisor

Dublin venues including block, Pygmalion, Wigwam, The Grand Social, Tengu, Whelan’s, Fidelity, and The Big Romance will open their doors for the Nocturnal Beats: Late Night Venue Trail, hosted by Dublin City Council as part of Culture Night 2025.

On Friday 19 September, each venue will play host to a programme of events, ranging from live performances and DJ sets to smaller-scale listening sessions. Admission to all venues on the trail is free.

“Sometimes Dublin’s late-night venues don’t get the recognition they deserve. Nocturnal Beats is a way of highlighting the importance of these spaces within the fabric of Dublin’s night-time culture,” commented Ray O’Donoghue, Dublin City’s Night-Time Economy Advisor (pictured).

“The trail gives people the chance to explore several venues in one night – and the best part is, it’s all free.”

The Culture Night initiative is part of a wider strategy to highlight the essential role of Dublin’s night-time economy while broadening access to cultural events after dark. Nocturnal Beats held its first Late Night Venue Trail in 2024.
