The Sabres of Paradise, the legendary electronic outfit helmed by Andrew Weatherall (RIP), Jagz Kooner, and Gary Burns, are among the names – their first gig announcement since the mid 90s – while other electronic artists include Paul Kalkbrenner, Amelie Lens, Jamie XX, Sandwell District, Armand Van Helden, Joy Orbison, Kelly Lee Owens, DJ Koze and more.

A total of 147 artists have been announced for the annual soirée at Barcelona‘s Parc del Fòrum, with many more to be announced – as anyone that has been to the festival before knows, a whole week of music is planned in venues around the city, details of which will be announced at a later date.

Other big names set to grace Primavera Sound 2025 include Charli xcx, Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter – three of the biggest names in pop at the moment – along with LCD Soundsystem, FKA twigs, HAIM, Jamie xx, Fontaines D.C., Beach House, IDLES, Clairo, Turnstile, Sturgill Simpson, ANOHNI and the Johnsons, Floating Points, Stereolab and Parcels.

Primavera Sound is also known for special shows and reunions, and this year, TV On The Radio will revisit their influential sound, Spiritualized will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pure Phase, and The Jesus Lizard will return to Primavera after 16 years. Other notable acts include Cat Power, who will recreate Bob Dylan’s 1966 UK tour on stage.

Tickets will go on sale starting October 28 at 11:00 CET via a fan sale for registered users, and general sales open on October 29. Full festival tickets start at €295 (plus fees), with VIP options available for €495.

Elsewhere, Primavera Pro, the festival’s industry event, will run from June 4-7 at the CCCB in Barcelona, featuring conferences, showcases, and networking opportunities for music professionals.
