The Dublin Disco All-Dayer returns for its second edition this October, with legendary selector Nicky Siano among those taking to the decks.
Following its debut in February, Round 2 of the Dublin Disco All-Dayer takes place on Saturday, October 5 at Orlagh House, Rathfarnham.
As well as Siano, of Studio 54 and The Gallery fame, Daniele Baldelli, iconic resident DJ at Italy’s Cosmic Club is also set to appear, while the event will also feature Irish disco talent, including Pablo from Fatty Fatty Phonographics, Mother stalwart Ruth Kavanagh, and up-and-coming selector Ricky Chong.
Additional performers include Not Another Disco! from Cork, Glenn Davis vs SoulSista B, Belfast Music Club, Together Soul DJ’s, and Will Dempsey from Hang Dai.
The event will see the return of the ‘Balearic Back Room’, a lounge area featuring a variety of sounds from ambient, jazz and reggae to soul, funk and other eclectic all-sorts.
Klipschorn loudspeakers, the horn-driven speakers much adored by audiophiles, will be used for the event, ensuring high-quality sounds throughout.
Orlagh House, set on 50 acres in the Dublin Mountains, offers views of Dublin City Centre, Howth Head, and the Irish Sea. The main dancefloor is located in a converted church hall with panoramic views. More performers will be announced soon.
