Bridges For Music announces details of 2023 charity cycle from London to Amsterdam

Bridges For Music has announced details of its annual charity cycle from London to Amsterdam, which kicks off on 15 October.

The yearly event, which starts at Resident Advisor’s headquarters in Shoreditch and ends at Amsterdam Dance Event on 18 October, has welcomed industry participants such as Richie Hawtin, Joris Voorn, Chris Liebing, Pan-Pot, Juliet Fox and more.

Techno DJ Rebekah, who joined the cycle in 2019 and 2020, commented, “Joining the ADE/Bridges for Music Cyle was one of the most exhilarating yet challenging experiences, a true test of fitness. All whilst raising money for an awesome cause.”

Teams who have signed up to participate in this year’s cycle include Pioneer DJ, Awakenings, Armada, Resident Advisor, Beatport, Sonos, Defected, and others.

The charity ride aims to raise funds for the Bridges music academy located in Langa Township, South Africa, as well as for young students living in disadvantaged communities. Since its first event in 2014, Bridges For Music has already generated £250,000, which has facilitated the Bridges academy in expanding its program.

The academy aims to transform the lives of young individuals by providing over 200 students annually with a cost-free education through the Music MBA program offered by Bridges. This unique program combines creative entrepreneurship, mindfulness, and music, further enhancing its impact.

Participants who wish to join the event will be provided with an ADE Pro pass, luxurious three-night accommodations at four-star spa hotels, knowledgeable tour guides, and dedicated support throughout the ride. Additionally, services such as luggage transport, breakfast, dinner, and energy snacks will be included. As part of the package, individuals will also receive an official ADE jersey, and upon completion of the ride, their bike will be safely transported back to London.
