ANALOG RHYTHMS exhibition set to recapture the spirit of 90s Dublin club culture

The evolution of Dublin nightlife at the tail end of the millennium is the core focus of a new exhibition, taking place at The Bernard Shaw on 9 and 10 July: ANALOG RHYTHMS – A Celebration of Dublin Club Culture.

Tracking the development of the capital’s club scene during its formative years, ANALOG RHYTHMS will tell the story of pivotal venues such as Sides DC, Temple of Sound, The Ormond, The Pod, Columbia Mills, The Asylum, Temple Theatre, The Kitchen, System, The Funnel, The Furnace and many more – featuring a massive collection of flyers, photos, clippings, memorabilia… and plenty of tales from the dancefloor.

The exhibition is being curated by award-winning music site 909originals.com, in association with Bodytonic, and will take place on 9 and 10 July at The Bernard Shaw, Cross Guns Bridge, Drumcondra. You can purchase tickets through Eventbrite below.

“The 1990s was a time of cultural awakening in Dublin, which was best represented by the vibrancy of the city’s nightclub industry,” says Steve Wynne-Jones, editor of 909originals.com. “With ANALOG RHYTHMS, we pay tribute to the people and places that helped shape the scene and cement Dublin’s reputation as one of the party capitals of Europe.”
