Leading dance artists come together to launch new Scenarios collective
Dance artists Emanuel Satie, Maga, Sean Doron, Tim Engelhardt and Yulia Niko have come together to form a new collective, record label and event series – Scenarios.
The Scenarios project kicks off with the launch of the Here To Stay EP on 1 April, which features Maga, Sean Doron and Tim Engelhardt.
Commenting on the new collective, Doron said, “We represent a new generation of artists that functions as a whole while still maintaining our individuality. In this way, we can truly grow as one.”
Individually, each has enjoyed success – Emanuel Satie has featured in plenty of Beatport and Resident Advisor ‘End of Year’ lists, while Maga has featured releases on labels such as Flying Circus and Get Physical. Israel’s Sean Doron has found a welcome home on Damian Lazarus’ Rebellion imprint over the years, Tim Engelhardt is a mainstay of iconic German label Stil Vor Talent, while Yulia Niko’s original minimal techno sound has gained her admiration the world over.
“I value unity because I believe we learn from each other in this process,” Maga said of the creation of Scenarios.
