Davide Squillace and NOLAN have teamed up to launch their first collaborative EP on John Digweed’s Bedrock Records. You can stream/download it here.
The two-track EP, which features the tracks Cosmo and Those Late Nights, follows on from the duo working together on the track Drive Good, which was launched on Crosstown Rebels’ sister label, Rebellion, in September.
Chatting to 909originals back in September, Squillace revealed how he managed to maintain his mojo during lockdown, with clubs closed around the world.
“To be honest, I write lots of non-4/4 music, so it was a perfect time to do it, but I also wrote lots of 4/4 with different blends and directions,” he said. “Not having in your emotion and memory the feeling of last weekend’s club gigs can be tricky – that feeling you have when you come back home really helps the writing. […] The energy was unpredictable. I like to make music when there is joy and unity.”
