Toolroom soundtracks the return to the dancefloor with ‘Club Rave Dance’ compilation

Arguably the busiest label in dance music, Toolroom Records has just unveiled a compilation that soundtracks the return to the dancefloor.

Club Rave Dance features artists such as Martin Ikin, Mark Knight, Volkoder, John Summit, Danny Howard, Maxinne, Nic Fanciulli, Flashmob, Latmun, Catz ‘n Dogz, Biscits and more, and coincides with the return of Toolroom Live, which is set to host sold-out shows at Ministry Of Sound, London and Motion in Bristol.

The album also features full-length mixes by Flashmob and Volkoder, plus seven exclusive tracks; just the tonic to get you in the mood for a night on the floor. You can buy/stream it here.

Elsewhere, Toolroom also recently announced the second edition of its Toolroom Vaults series, a compilation packed with rarities and exclusives, offering a glimpse into the label’s exclusive vaults.

Toolroom Vaults Vol. 2 features 50 tracks from PAX, Honey Dijon, Eelke Kleijn, Rene Amesz, Juliet Fox, Volkoder, DJ S.K.T, Kurd Maverick, Harry Romero, Ruben Mandolini and more – an essential for any crate digger out there.

Here’s a promo mix DJ S.K.T. has done to coincide with the album’s release.

909originals recently had the chance to chat to Toolroom boss Mark Knight, who spoke about the challenges and opportunities presented by the recent pandemic.

“It’s actually been our most successful year to date, which, considering the pandemic, is not bad going at all,” he told us. “We had three records on the Radio 1 A-list, and our radio strategy was something we were really focussed on coming into 2020, so to see it paying off was hugely gratifying.

“Of course it’s been amazing that the fans have stuck with us, even though we haven’t been able to get on a dancefloor in more than a year, so yes we definitely owed it to them to make sure we kept putting out music that they could connect with.”
