DC10 legends CircoLoco announce partnership with Rockstar Games on new label

CircoLoco has been behind some of the most memorable days and nights in Ibiza’s clubbing history, and now the DC10 regulars are launching a new record label, alongside a perhaps-unexpected partner, Rockstar Games.

CircoLoco Records, a collaboration between CircoLoco and the Grand Theft Auto creator, will debut with a series of EPs featuring tracks from a forthcoming compilation, Monday Dreamin‘ (set to be released 9 July), the first of which, Dreamin’ Blue, is released on 4 June.

According to CircoLoco, the label is being positioned to showcase contributions from some of the artists that have graced CircoLoco’s parties over the years, including new releases from Carl Craig, Luciano, Seth Troxler, Moodymann and Rampa, as well as up and coming producers.

“CircoLoco has always been about the passion for finding the best music, supporting artists and bringing them to the people in the purest way possible,” said CircoLoco founder Antonio Carbonaro. “CircoLoco Records is a natural next step for us, giving us a chance to bring the music we love to people everywhere.”

The Dreamin Blue EP will feature new tracks from Sama’ Abdulhadi, Kerri Chandler, Rampa and Seth Troxler, alongside a new Dixon remix of Deichkind’s Autonom.

Rockstar Games has dabbled extensively in the music industry in the past; featuring a myriad of artists on Grand Theft Auto‘s curated radio stations, as well as introducing digital nightclubs to Grand Theft Auto Online with the After Hours update – in which players could experience sets from The Blessed Madonna, Dixon, Solomun and Tale Of Us.

The release of The Cayo Perico Heist last December evolved upon the concepts introduced with After Hours, expanding the possibilities for in-game social spaces.

“Music is fundamental to Rockstar Games – it’s part of everything we do,” said Rockstar Games founder, Sam Houser. “Partnering with our friends at CircoLoco is part of our ongoing efforts to find new ways to bring the very best underground music to the widest audience possible.”
