Check out ‘Paused II – A Love Letter To Dublin At Night’, part of the St. Patrick’s virtual festival

St. Patrick’s Eve is typically one of the busiest nights on Ireland’s clubbing calendar, and while we can’t be united on the dancefloor the evening, a documentary by The Big Romance and Homebeat promises to offer a kaleidoscopic view of Dublin’s nightlife culture.

Paused II – A Love Letter To Dublin At Night, which will be broadcast tonight at 10.15pm on www.stpatricksfestival.ie, features Sunil Sharpe, R. Kitt and music from Dreamcycles.

The documentary promises to ‘take us on a trip around Dublin city as we hear from those affected by lockdown as they look ahead to returning to dancefloors soon. It’s a celebration of the music that moves so many dancefloors all over the country’.

Filmed at The Big Romance and around Dublin City, the concept was developed by Janet Takuz with filming and editing undertaken by Adrian O’ Connell of Itchy Feet Creative.

‘Dublin is a thriving city late at night, we hope this piece captures what is possible when we can dance again,’ as The Big Romance and Homebeat put it.
