Check out this incredible techno mix recorded in Dublin’s The Kitchen nightclub in 1997…

Here’s a special treat from the vaults. Techno legend Oliver Way has uploaded a DJ set recorded at The Kitchen Nightclub in Dublin in June 1997, at a time when the Temple Bar dungeon was arguably the finest venue for techno in the Irish capital.

The JDP and Urban Substance nights at the iconic Dublin venue (which we here at 909originals have written about extensively in the past – click here) were nothing short of incredible, as evidenced by the queues snaking down East Essex Street and the rivers of sweat flowing into the moat around the dancefloor. 🙂

Kudos to Jason Denham and the JDP crew for some savage memories.

Oliver Way is now better known as one half of electro-tech-funk outfit Detroit Grand Pubahs, which was formed at the tail end of the Nineties. Up until then, he was better known as a long-standing purveyor of sick techno beats, as evidenced by this killer mix.

Includes tracks by Jeff Mills, Dj T 1000, Dj Slip, Marduk and others. Play it LOUD.
