Chris Liebing is getting ready to rock ADE 2018…

One of the highlights of the dance music calendar, the Amsterdam Dance Event (or ADE, for short) takes place in a month’s time, running from 17-21 October in a myriad of venues around the Dutch capital.

One of the highlights of the week-long series of events will undoubtedly be the HYTE ADE x Loveland event, taking place across three stages at Mediahaven on Friday 19 October, which will play host to DJs including Loco Dice, Pan Pot, Andrea Olivia, Samuel Deep, Guti and, fresh from the launch of his new album, Burn Slow, Chris Liebing.

909originals recently caught up with Chris, and we asked him whether he had anything special planned for the forthcoming event.

“I always love ADE,” he told us. “I love Amsterdam and the HYTE events in the past years have always been some of the main events for people to go to and have fun at.

“There is always something special there. I never really think much about a particular night, because sometimes when you plan too much you might limit yourself with regard to what else might be happening.

“But I have always quite a different mindset going into [ADE], knowing that there are a lot of amazing music heads out there, people who know the music, people who you can take to new territories, if you play some stuff that they maybe haven’t heard in a long time or they have never heard before.

“So yeah, prepare to be surprised.”
