ROUND 1, MATCH 6. Snap! – ‘Rhythm Is A Dancer’ vs M.C. Sar & The Real McCoy – ‘Another Night’

Eurodance 2021 continues with Snap!’s 1992 smash Rhythm Is A Dancer going head-to-head with Another Night, from M.C. Sar & The Real McCoy.

Borrowing its main riff from Newcleus’ 1984 hit Automan – and including the now-infamous line “I’m as serious as cancer when I say rhythm is a dancer” – Rhythm Is A Dancer was reportedly never supposed to be released as a single, until positive club reactions changed all that.

The Real McCoy’s Another Night was also a sleeper hit in Germany upon its release in 1993, before going top-ten across the continent a year later. But which is your favourite?

You can listen to both tracks below, and cast your vote – remember the poll closes in 24 hours, so get voting, and get sharing. More information on the competition, as well as the match schedule, can be found here.

Let’s get ready to rumble… 🙂 #eurodance2021
